The Weekly WORD, 2/20 - 2/26

  • Local author Nathaniel Kressen (Concrete Fever) will be leading a bookbinding workshop Tuesday, from 6pm - 8pm, and all attendees will go home with a copy of his (handmade) book as well as the notebook they make during the class! There are just a couple spots left, so you should register ($25) right now if you want to come.
  • At Largehearted Lit, Jesse Browner (Everything Happens Today) and Joseph Diamond (Diamond Ruby) will present their NYC-centric novels, and The Debutante Hour will play us some songs, on Thursday at 7pm.
  • On Sunday at 3pm, the Wodehouse appreciation society book group will discuss Joy in the Morning

And speaking of things that will sell out, there are still tickets available for Michael Ian Black on Wednesday, February 29, in conversation with Meghan McCain about his memoir You’re Not Doing It Right
