- Our inaugural Words by the Water event, with Soho Crime writers James R. Benn, Henry Chang, and Timothy Hallinan, kicks off a month of Monday night readings at the East River State Park, on the 6th at 7 p.m.
- Staff favorites Katie Kitamura and Adam Rapp will be in conversation with Sarah Weinman about their new books, Tuesday the 7th at 7 p.m.
- Classics Book Group will be finishing up their discussion of Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, Saturday the 11th at noon.
- Music Writing Book Group will be discussing The Chitlin’ Circuit, Saturday the 11th at 3 p.m.
The following week, we’ve got Dave Tompkins at the East River State Park, Williamsburg history with Robert Anasi, and daytime drinking with Peter Joseph.
