• Four excellent YA authors — David Levithan, Mariah Fredericks, Adele Griffin, and Deborah Heiligman — will discuss their newest books, the state of YA literature, their inner teens, and more, Monday the 10th, 7 p.m.
• Emily Books is celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary with a party and reading with three of their featured authors — Tamara Faith Berger, Emily Carter, and Ariana Reines — on Wednesday the 12th, 7 p.m.
• Join local children’ author Michelle Knudsen in celebrating her newest picture book, Big Mean Mike, with a launch party complete with reading, activities, and snacks, Saturday the 14th, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

 And the following week, we’ve got writing advice from Verlyn Klinkenborg, the return of Largehearted Lit, our fundraiser for First Book-Brooklyn, and a ticketed extravaganza at Public Assembly with Emma Straub, Andrew McCarthy, Stephen Merritt, and Maris Kreizman.
